Report of the Secretary-General

Summary

This report has been prepared in response to General Assembly resolution 71/224, entitled “Towards the sustainable development of the Caribbean Sea for present and future generations”[1], in which the Assembly requested the Secretary-General to report at its seventy third session on the status of implementation of the resolution. The report highlights a range of activities undertaken at national and regional levels by member States, international development partners and other stakeholders to advance the sustainable development of the Caribbean Sea. A report of the Association of Caribbean States (ACS) on progress made in implementation of the resolution is also contained in Annex 1.
